Howard Greenfield

Mr. Greenfield, Go Associates President and Principal Consultant, has held management roles in some of Silicon Valley's leading companies with  responsibilities for product development, global marketing, and partnerships.
Over twenty years of technology industry experience includes a consulting practice that
has served clients such as British Telecom, Computer Science
Press, General Foods, the University of California, and others. His corporate management positions
have included VP, Product Marketing at Softface, acquired by Ariba, 2004, and Senior
VP, Product Development at Obvious Technology, innovator in broadband content solutions.
Prior to that, Howard led the Informix Software (acquired by IBM) digital management strategy in technical marketing, account management, and communications. In his seven years at Sun Microsystems, Howard created and managed Sun's first media lab and oversaw co-development efforts
with Sun Labs, Xerox PARC, & Stanford University. Howard also worked
in Apple Computer's Advanced Technology Group on e-Learning. In addition to his degrees in computer science, business, and literature, Howard
has authored three books, including IPTV and Internet
Video (Focal Press, 2007), and is a frequent contributing
writer to leading industry publications. He also has serves
on the board of BlueVoice.org, an Internet media non-profit dedicated to protecting ocean life & habitats.
Howard received his Masters Degree from Stanford University and his Bachelors Degree from the University of California.
Jon Haass

Dr. Haass, senior consultant, has extensive industry and executive experience working with individuals and company culture or organizational a  nd business development. He is experienced in both startup and large corporations. His current passion is the mentoring and coaching of individuals and groups. Together with colleagues, he offers products and services to assist companies to take full advantage of their valuable human assets. His “Right Livelihood Program” has been well received at Chevron, Intel and other leading companies. During his career, he has founded or been on the founding executive team of 4 startup companies, including OpenTV and Sendmail. While at OpenTV, in the position of VP WorldWide Marketing, he led the growth of the company in preparation for its IPO. Jon spent five years with Sun Microsystems in various capacities, including Group Marketing Manager for Multimedia Products. Jon earned a Ph.D. from MIT and Bachelors Degrees from the University of Wyoming.
John Varney

John Varney, a 30-year veteran of the broadcast industry, is
founder & CEO of Maximum Clarity Ltd, helping executives
understand the possibilities offered by technology in the
areas of business development, internal proce  sses
& services.
The ventures arm has invested in and advises start-up
businesses, based in Europe and the US. He spent the
previous 5 years as CTO for the BBC, responsible for the
overall technology vision, strategy and delivery for the
Corporation.
Previously with Granada, the UK’s largest commercial TV
production company, he was instrumental in the launch of
digital broadcasting in the UK and part of the leadership
team in Corporate M&A involved in the delivery of an IPO and
flotation of Granada Media from the parent organization.
While with Granada, he also acted as adviser to Channel 7 in
Australia and the Australian Government. He enjoys bringing
his experience to a new generation of technologists and
business leaders through lecturing at Universities and
Conferences worldwide.
Adrian Exton

Adrian, located in the UK, is managing partner of The Leon Partnership
and a founding director of Vidante Ltd. an international
technology and communications consulting company in the UK
which advises organizations on a range of technology
projects. Prior to this, Adrian was managing director of
Optibase Europe Ltd where in 1994 he established a team of
sales and support staff with European responsibility. He was
involved in the successful IPO of the parent company,
Optibase Ltd on the NASDAQ market in April 1999 (symbol :
OBAS). He has chaired the DVD Forum's European Conference in
London and is registered with the European Commission as an
expert evaluator. He has over 24 years experience in
technology-related markets including computer aided design
system sales, specialized graphics system distribution and
design work in the defense industry, industrial and marine
engineering sectors. Adrian is a trustee of the Wiltshire
Play Resources Centre charity and holds a private pilot
license PPL(A).
Pierre Khawand

Founder and principal of People-OntheGo, has more than fifteen years of experience in the software industry. Pierre has founded several companies including a financial software company in 1987 (Computer Trends, Inc.), an e-CRM company in 1995 (Imparto Software Corporation), raised several multi-million dollar funding rounds, and completed two successful acquisitions. In the last few years, Pierre's interest centered around bridging the gap between technology and people. He founded People-OntheGo to help corporate users manage e-mail and digital communication tools more effectively, and Digital-OntheGo to help organizations take full advantage of the new advances in digital video and web distribution, both part of the OntheGo Technologies L.L.C. Pierre holds a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan), and has completed several Executive Education programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Management (Stanford, California).
